    Denise Johnson

Greetings! I am Denise Johnson and welcome to the Quiet Avenue Life Coaching & Therapy site. I am a licensed master clinical social worker, trained life coach, and substance abuse, counselor.

I’ve worked with a lot of people over the course of my career. My passion is relationships and communication for individuals, adults, couples, families, and groups.

I provide counseling for a variety of concerns.

I was born and raised in Detroit, MI a city known as the Motor City, home of the Motown Sound and the Queen of Soul (Aretha Franklin). Over the years during my childhood and teen years, Detroit gained the reputation of being a model of what was wrong with urban cities in America.

Today Detroit has rebounded to being dubbed and touted as a “Comeback City” and affectionally known as the “D” by residents of Detroit and the surrounding suburbs.

Detroit has been a foundation for me, it is where I gained my resilience, determination, and openness to assist in the empowerment of others.

My Goal is to assist you to discern, create, and establish your life
    balance.

You will develop the tools you need to obtain a balance in your life.

On a personal note, I love to read mystery books, do yoga, and travel both
internationally and domestically. I utilize these activities as part of my
    balance.

You are encouraged to start your search to discover your balance and what
    it means in your life.

Let’s take the Quiet Avenue and begin the journey
